Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We are already in week two of the 2026 legislative session, and there’s a lot of work to get done over the next several weeks. Affordability, public safety concerns, homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles continue to affect families and communities in the 17th District every day.

Too many students are falling behind in school, access to health care remains limited in some areas, and our long-term energy reliability is increasingly uncertain. These are real problems that call for focused attention, a sense of urgency, and real action from lawmakers this session.

That’s why I want to hear directly from you about the issues you think should be front and center this year. Your perspective matters, and it helps guide the work I do on your behalf. To that end, I have created a short legislative priority survey to get your input.

Please click on the image below and take a moment to share your priorities by completing my survey.

Washington is facing serious challenges on multiple fronts. Rising costs, a limited housing supply, and growing child care expenses are putting real pressure on household budgets. The decisions made in Olympia shape our daily life back home, from household budgets to job opportunities and the strength of our local economy.

As your state representative, I want to lower costs for families, improve public safety, hold state government accountable, and do much more to fix Washington.

As this session moves forward, know that I am working for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any comments, questions, concerns, or bill ideas.

It’s an honor to represent you.

Take my legislative priorities survey.

Sincerely,

David Stuebe
